Oh well.

Erotic Circus

Friday night we took the Metrolink to downtown LA to see Cirque Berzerk
http://www.cirqueberzerk.com/

We went with friends and a cousin from Maryland that was staying with us. This show is under the big top and is kind of a cross between goth and french burlesque. It's dark, but not scary. It's basically the circus gone wrong. We all loved it, not sure about the cousin though. It was sexual in an unconventional way, which is just so me. I was so incredibly stimulated by the loud crazy music and energy. There was no sexual discrimination, there was guy/girl, girl/girl, guy/guy scenes. (no actual sex, but it was in your face..erotic). It definitely got me hot and bothered.

After we got home, we went to bed. Cousin in bedroom right next to ours.
Hmmmmmm, that's not good.
He kisses me and pushes me back, his hand slips down into my panties, I giggle.
He says, Shhhhhhh.
He starts rubbing my clit, and I moan.
He says, Shhhhhh.
He grabs a handful of hair at the nape of my neck and pulls down towards the small of my back.
Instant wetness.
I can't even describe the intense feeling I had not being able to make a noise.
He guided me into positions, all the time holding my head back with my hair.
Both of us came different times.... pretty much in silence.
That was a new experience for me, because this girl is a screamer, giggler, and moaner.
That is how I let myself go, be free and reach the big O.
But this was different, and I liked it.
I knew I absolutely could not make any noise, so in that sense it was a restraint.
Restraint seems to do it for me.
Hmmmmmm.

Gotta Getaway.

I think it's time to hit the road, hop a flight or sail away to someplace great. We haven't gone on vacation in a couple years, besides a weekend getaway here or there. We need to relax, do something different, reconnect, have wild sex, and forget about life for awhile.
With his job he has time off periodically, but not with any notice. And if there is notice, we either don't plan, or have no extra money to go do something. Time to snap out of the rut, get out of the daily routine and frolic a bit.
Any suggestions?

Balloons and Boobs

The party's over, time to pop the balloons!

A really fun day.

Today my hubby through me a party. 28 friends and family members, good food, pretty cake, balloons, and lots of talking and laughter. We both did a lot in preparation like cleaning up the house and yards.Tensions ran a little high before the party. Each of us having different ways to do or get ready for the occasion. Plus dealing with family members that want to be a part of the planning and organizing, can throw things for a loop also. It can seem overwhelming and never ending. It all ended up real nice and we all survived. Our backyard is our party place. Our house is very small, but we have a huge backyard and large patio. It's ideal for gatherings. Our dog was in his height of glory, he loves gift bags. He runs around with them on his head and then shreds them to pieces. Good for some serious laughs. Everybody seemed to have a good time and I have now officially kissed another year goodbye. I really appreciate the efforts made to make my birthday special.

Now, the party's over and we kick back, drink coffee, watch tv, and blog.

It was a fun day.

Mexican Country Murphy Bed

There has been many processes that we have gone through to get this cabinet to look this way. I haven't shown them all for boredom sake. So this is our Murphy Bed, we've made it from scratch. We ordered the mechanisms that make it lock, and go up and down. With the mechanisms they sent, they also give you directions on how to make a basic cabinet. Mostly it's pretty generic and we couldn't find anything that suited our style dealing with these kinds of beds. So we've pretty much devoted ourselves to researching Mexican country furniture and this is what we have come up with. It's not completely finished, it's about 90% done. It has a scalloping detail on the top still to be made and tonight we are picking up the mattress. (just a standard one). There are still strap hinges to be installed. I got them and the door pulls on Ebay for really killer deals. The next time I post about it, it should be completely finished. I will show you how it looks when the bed is down.
It's almost time to Christen it, huh? ;)

Coming around the Bend

Ok, I think I've got the painting a little more dialed in. I've got him whooshing around the corner and have added other paper airplanes, like they've gotten flung off the ride. Today, I'll actually draw them onto the canvas and start painting again tomorrow when I'm at the gallery.
Wood in back of the second pic is for the head board of the murphy bed. That was our first piece we distressed and crackle painted. Today we will do a majority of the bed.
Top picture shows the type of piece we are going for . It will not be exact, but something to that effect.

Projects Update

We finished refurbishing the chairs. (The before pics, shown in a May post)

The murphy bed is coming along and actually is looking like a cabinet.
We have beat it up, by using the dremel, hitting it with a hammer, chiseling it.
We want it to look old. (Mexican country, to be exact)
We have started a painting process in which a friend of ours has taught us.
Right now the whole thing is stained grey, then you put on this leather glue (which makes the paint crack), then next is the red paint, followed by a wash of acrylic burnt umber paint. Then a sealer is applied. This process is a little overwhelming, but I think it'll be so well worth it.
There is a lot of details to be added to the top and bottom to dress it out.
I've gotten strap hinges and antique door pulls from ebay, that are for looks.

Realizing I Need to Learn More.

Last couple days I have been floundering with my painting. I think mainly because I'm not letting myself slow down enough. At least for me when I paint or need to brain storm, I need a pretty big chunk of time. A couple hours by myself to really get into my work. I'm having a hard time right now trying to figure out the prospective. The paper airplane with whirlybird is throwing me off. Not only is he going to be swinging out at an angle, he is coming towards us, on the left hand side. I have a little bit of drawing skills, but not enough. I do fairly well painting from a photo and copying it. When it's all coming straight from the imagination, it takes a lot more. Doing paintings in this manner is new to me. I have been thinking that I probably need to take another drawing class this next semester. I need to refresh some skills and just basically dial in on my weaknesses. Sometime soon here, I do need to let myself become one with this piece and maybe I can figure somethings out.

We got a Pole

If this is all to boring, let me know please.

Beginning of a Painting

Excuse the morning look. Oh god, I'll never do that again!!! :)
In the video I'm referring to the painting below..... on the previous post.

I still don't have this video thing down yet.
I ended up using photo booth again, and as you'll see, it cut me off.
I tried imovie and I think I need to mess with it some more.
When I uploaded it to post, it was only 4 seconds long.
I thought I did good. The initial video worked well.
I must not have exported it to my desktop right.
Maybe I need to stick to photos and writing????

Steps I Take

Excuse the morning look. I won't do that anymore....oh god. :)

Beginning Stages

I tried to vlog about the start of this painting earlier today. I ran into technical difficulties. I was going to take this to the gallery today to work on it. I wanted to make sure I recorded these steps before it morphed into something else. So, in the next day or so I will try to vlog and describe more about my thought processes and applications that goes into my art.

I am such the Blogger

Doesn't it seem like lately when I say I want to do something, it doesn't take long to get it going.

The Duck Song.

Just a thought.

I'm thinking about doing a Vlog. Or maybe the written word or just a picture is better. I'm not sure what I'd Vlog about, but I'm sure ideas would come.

Things that make you go,Hmmm.

There's a look that I have gotten before and one I got the other day that makes me go, Hmmmm.
An older man was at the gallery the other day and just was a little smitten. He had kind of a coy grin like he's up to something or knows something. We talked about the art and he was a nice enough gentlemen. His eyes kept twinkling and he checked me out in an obvious up and down motion, with a half a wink as his eyes knew they were caught.
I've been checked out before, but I've experienced this particular way it's done a handful of times.
It makes me wonder if they've seen my blog.
Hmmmmm.
