Gotta Getaway.

I think it's time to hit the road, hop a flight or sail away to someplace great. We haven't gone on vacation in a couple years, besides a weekend getaway here or there. We need to relax, do something different, reconnect, have wild sex, and forget about life for awhile.
With his job he has time off periodically, but not with any notice. And if there is notice, we either don't plan, or have no extra money to go do something. Time to snap out of the rut, get out of the daily routine and frolic a bit.
Any suggestions?

There are great deals to Mexico and Hawaii via Orbitz, Expedia, Priceline. . . .there are other agencies to check out - Pleasant Hawaiian Holidays for one. If you stick with any basic package you'll get a hella deal on travel to a great place. Let your fingers do the walking . . .then go have fun. You guys deserve it!

Australia would always welcome you if you really wanted to get away from everything. Our dollar being how it is you'd be living like millionaires.

Have you decided where you're going to take vacation? You live so close to so many opportunities for relaxation and fun that choosing where to go might be the problem.

Actually, this week we have company staying with us. This next week I'm gonna hit the vacation search hard. Mexico is on the top of my list. Possibly a road trip somewhere? I don't know yet. I am going to check priceline and expedia.
I was hoping to hear if somebody had been to a certain destination and could reccomend it. We've been to a couple places that look good in the pictures and you get there and...not so much.
We went to Newport Beach today and heading down to San Onofre tomorrrow. Just little day trips, with the family. Need to get away farther than an hour away. :)

Ensenada used to be a nice place - -- Estero Beach (about a half hour south) had a very nice hotel, great restaurant. Check it out.

Barbados. Only choice.

Sometimes people cancel holidays at the last minute and so travel agents will offer them dirt cheap. http://www.firstchoice.co.uk/last-minute-deals/

Also if it's lovely and warm go skinny dipping in a fresh woodland stream or river with waterfalls etc must be somewhere like that in driving distance of you.

Ooh if you want to check out what a place is like in the USA use Google streetview. if you haven't used streetview before go to google and click on maps. this video tells you what to do next
