My worst fear

My worst fear happened yesterday morning. My mom who is my best friend......she passed away yesterday morning. I have been the luckiest girl in the world to have been her daughter. What an honor.
I'm coping pretty well as for now. I know once reality fully sets in, it will probably be another story.
I'm a bit numb. No....I think I'm running on adrenaline.
When I have the mental strength I will write about what happened.
It truly was unexpected and the scariest moment of my life.

I am so blessed to have hubby and good friends and family here to support me.

Allow me to extend my deepest condolences on the loss of your mother. Losing a parent is one of the biggest losses that can be suffered by anyone. May you find God's presence with you as you journey through the time of grief.

awwww larooooo, i'm SO sorry.. yes, you WILL go in and out of grief, maybe for a few years. but be gentle with yourself, it comes in pieces. also, when someone is taken what seems like too soon to us, i have tried to believe that it happened for a reason, maybe it was mercifully this way to avoid something worse down the road.

justa thought. sending you BIG hugs and prayers you find a peace.

love you,
