Porn???

Please remove me from your email list. Some of this is not art, but porn to me.

This is an email we received after sending these announcements out for our show.
Are the cherries really that offensive?

As an artist you should always keep in mind the old saying that Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And, Different strokes for different folks. Also, One size does not fit all.....

And "You can please some of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time" -- Abraham Lincoln

Having worked with scads and scads of people I know first hand that there's always at least one person who's pissed off over the most petty ass thing. Grin. Bare it. And ignore those igno-tards.

TWATGaz- Could have been. :)

ChiTown- Yeah, uh they aren't the only one. This little painting has caused issues. I just want to paint what I want..... for shit sakes. People are so uptight.

Bob-I realize that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The other saying is...If you can't say something nice, don't say it all. I'm not tying them down and making them look at anything...just look away if you can't stand the sight of a woman's breast. Right now it is hard to ignore the igno-tards, they are surrounding me. I do have support by some but the shitheads are just there.

Anyone who can't stand the sight of a woman's breast needs medication and long term therapy.

It's the hotdog.

Ooops!
I just realized, it's NOT a hotdog. It's the edge of a top or something like that.
Maybe it's the parking meter.

Ha ha.. seriously? This person *can't* be oblivious to the fact that art history is full of nudes.. maybe they think it's ok as long as the paintings are old????

Also, the fact that there's nudity in porn does not make "nude" and "porn" the same.

But I guess it is in the eye of the beholder- if he or she has a pervy brain then of course they will see pervy stuff:P
