I fared well as result of the fair.

I had 2 art pieces in the fair. After the fair is over, if someone was interested in buying them they will give you Interest In Purchase Cards. I got 6 of total. I just sold one today to an art collector. A first for me.We went to his house to deliver the piece and Oh My God, I am so honored to be a part of his collection. This guy has some amazing artwork. Not a pretentious person at all, just loved art for the sake of loving art. He didn't seem concerned about what something was going to be worth or if the pieces match the furniture. But in some odd way it all worked. I just was in awe of everything. It was not your typical mass produced Thomas Kinkade or Wyland whales kind of shit. I should have taken pictures to share, but just believe me it was the coolest stuff.
Now the other piece, I have called and left a messages with the interested parties with no return calls yet. O'well I can't complain.

Congratulations. Maybe being in his collection will get your work exposed to the more serious collectors and artists.

Looking back at this post, I hope I'm not gloating. This just was such a happy moment for me, I had to share. I never thought someone like that would be interested in my work.

Do you plan on selling prints? I would love to buy some :-P

Sequoia, it's a weird thing I...well I just really love sticking with the originals. I don't like how a print or glicee' takes away that painterly quality. I know I might have to get over this sometime, but for now that's how I feel on that subject. Also to set up for quality prints or glicees it costs a pretty sizeable amount. So the upfront costs are high, then to make your money back you need to sell quite a few of those images to make it back. In the long run it doesn't pay off unless you are selling in big quantities. I'm not there yet and not sure if that's the direction I want to go. I like the thought of only one of kind.
I'm very honored you like my work.
