I'm hearing Hiroshima on Internet radio, the wash machine on a spin cycle and the ever present ringing in my ears. But it's nice just to sit more than a couple of times a day and just be quiet letting the sounds of nature or man . . . take me away. . . .
Because of my airforce back ground I pick the different sounds of aircraft. But just to sit back for 5 minutes and listen to the sounds we take for granted and imagine if they weren't around.
I hear the hum of our Playstation, the tic-tic-tic of a clock, my daughter (who is napping) coughing occasionally... and the sound of my own heartbeat thumping in my ears :)
