What a rack!

This has been a pretty fast painting. Actually one of thee fastest paintings I think I've ever done. I have a couple more sessions with it and then I'm done. Usually it takes me a few weeks.

So if you've been following my blog the last week or so. You'll know this was a word project painting. I drew 3 words out of a hat and were to creatively put two of those words together to make a painting.

My words were:
light
pregnant
buck

Guess which two words I chose?  :)

Any critique's are welcome.....be gentle. And realize I'm not completely done.

Zebie on a couch

Artist Tyson Grumm

Ummmm, just because I like it.

I see the couch as a mountain and the young voyager crossing into the vastness with his trusty companions and looking forward into the fantasy world's future through the telescope.

That's what's so fun about art.  Everybody sees something different. Most likely my story isn't what the artist had in mind but that's my take on it.

Most people don't know how to let their minds go. I don't have that problem

Distracting myself with art

Artist : Heronimus Bosch
He was an artist in the late 1400's early 1500's.
His work usually has all kinds of detailed subject matter.
I'll leave the wiki link in case you are so inclined to check it out.

If I can remember correctly one of his claim to fame pieces is called Judgement day.
It's just over the top awesome.

Working through a miniature depression and so you might find some random shit here.
Not that it is unusual here, I guess.
