Hubby and I have been dabbling in the lifestyle....kind of.
Well, we are open to it but have not "hooked up"(except Desire Cancun) with anyone.
We have attended a swing club, which was hot and we had a steamy sexy time together.
We've been to some "meet and greets" with no connection.
I don't know if I've mentioned this here before,hmmmmm.... it is pretty new to us.
It's something we've discussed a lot and hashed over many times and both feel that this is what we want. Who'd ever think that we'd come to this in our life. Sheeesh. So weird and totally awesome at the same time.
I guess we are either picky or not approachable enough.
So far we are bad "swingers"...we're not good at it.
You would think it would be easy....not for us.
I won't totally get into it, but we've already pissed off the local swing community.
Oh geez...really? They fired out a mass email about us. Holy Shit.
I know if you know us, you know we are just fun loving honest silly people that wouldn't intentionally ever hurt anyone. Not anymore, we are bad asses that are hurtful and non excepting of others.
Yep, that's us! We have a reputation and we've barely started.
Not having a wosie me moment, just actually poking fun at "us" the dorks.

Just because a group forms around an outside the mainstream behavior, doesn't mean the people are also open minded and accepting. I've encountered some real jerks in the lifestyle. Every group I have been with has rules and one of them is no means no. I hope you both continue in your discovery of mutual intimacy.

I mean, I realize I don't know you guys IRL, but hell, I feel like I know you from reading here for so long. I can't even imagine what the hell could have caused someone to take the time to blast out a nasty email about you guys. What an assbag move!
I'm glad you're taking it with a grain of salt, though. That's one of the things I LOVE about you. You just roll with the punches and you don't take yourself too seriously. That's part of what makes you so awesome.

Stick it up them and find other groups that are maybe more open in their views? I am sure there are plenty, just gotta know where to look.
Ottodad- welcome. We will continue our discovery but realize there are some definite life lessons to be learned and their are clicks in the lifestyle just like in regular life. Sucks. You would only hope not, but there is.
ChiTown Girl-We've been on a Lifestyle (swinger) dating site for a little while now. We have also kept a little diary (so to speak) on our adventures of being new and the people we've met and situations and events we've been to. There has been some good, but mostly we have run into people that really aren't our type of people. We did some writings about it and someone from those particular groups ran across it and it spread like wildfire. So writing down our adventures wasn't a good idea. Bad on our part in a couple ways. Obviously never meant to hurt anyone, and it sucks because this was our little place to go to write some honest true feelings we had. Now I feel like I have to edit everything.
Thnaks for loving me and I hope I never do anything too stupid to ruin that. I'm so lucky to have met you and some others here. I can't tell you how much that means.
TWATGaz- Thanks for the encouragement. Yeah, we are just moving on and trying to realize those people didn't matter to us anyways. Hopefully someday we will find some fun people that we hit it off with. Until then, the adventure continues, just in a slightly different way.
