A movie review by Laroo

A Midnight in Paris -written and directed by Woody Allen

This is a romantic comedy set in Paris about a family that goes there because of business, and two young people who are engaged to be married in the fall have experiences there that change their lives. It's about a young man's great love for a city, Paris, and the illusion people have that a life different from theirs would be much better. It stars Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams, Marion Cotillard, Kathy Bates, and Carla Bruni among others.

I'm not a huge Woody Allen fan and luckily he does not appear in this flick. This movie was recommended to me by a friend that said I of all people would enjoy it. It's not been the biggest pushed movie but it has some credibility. It has good twist that if you are an art type person would be able to appreciate. The movie really starts about a quarter to half way in. The scenery is pretty great and the mood takes a while to set.

It's hard to tell about it without giving it away so please check it out and tell me what you think. It just made me smile.

So I guess this wasn't a movie review but more of a recommendation with nothing to back it up. O'well go see it.

Can't go see it. Woody fucked his adopted daughter and later on married her. . . .which of course was a huge betrayal to his wife, Mia Farrow..... can't support anyone like that.
