A sweet documentary

An intimate portrait of Bill Cunningham, the 80 year old New York Times photographer who for forty years has been riding around New York City on his bicycle, documenting fashion trends on the street by day and New York's social scene at night for his two weekly columns in the Sunday Times. Known and beloved by most New Yorkers, and with an international following in the paper and on-line. Bill has been likened to Garbo in that, until now, no one has known a thing about him. Intensely private, and with an aversion to any kind of recognition. Written by Anonymous

We went and saw this movie this weekend and really liked it. We like to go see independant films or documentaries rather than the mainstream flicks. They seem to be more thought provoking and just seem to have an intimacy to them that you don't get from the everyday mass produced movies you see out there. I'm not saying all mainstreamers are bad, just most. :)

I totally reccomend seeing Bill Cunningham New York.
At least rent it when it comes out.

I love movies with character and this certainly does have "it" and them.

You know you have made it in life when you are a Wikipedia page. Here is Bill Cunningham's link - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Cunningham_%28photographer%29

I check my name in Wikipedia and it came up blank.

As always, I love your stories.
