You can't live with them, can't live without them.

Here they are, the new additions to the family. We didn't have the heart to take them back and just leave them on the counter. The cost a whopin 27 cents a piece. Not bad. Out the door sixteen bucks. Well..... they need a fish bowl and food and water treatment. Eva dont worry, hubby is starting a pond in the backyard as we speak.
I did take the photos I need for my next piece. I will share when I pick out the right one.
I held the bag up and looked at my new little friends and said, "what is your name"? The one quickly mouthed to me Bob and his friend pushed him aside and said Tom. They really did, I read their lips. They are great guys and plan watch lots of TV and keep us very zen.

Gee, never met a goldfish named Bob ever never. Met a couple of fishes in a bar soaking up some beer named Bob....

Did you know that Charlie Sheean has twin boys who he named Bob and Jack? Now there's a spot on guy with American values. Don't get more patriotic than that . . . Bob and Jack are definitely all American.

Bob and Tom are also spot on American names. Good call. (I'm smiling).....

Gaz- It's all good.

CarynSKA- They told me to tell you "Hi"

Bob-If they would have mouthed Stanley or Demetri, I would have been blown away. :)
Your right, Bob is all American. My Dad was a Bob and my brother and you. They are all or were stand up citizens, so I have high hopes for these two young chaps.

One thing for certain since these lads are standup Americans....if you ever tried to flush them both would come to attention and cry out, Hell no, we won't go!

Not to put a damper on the new family members... But goldfish have short lifespans. (I only say this because you contemplated dropping them on the doorstep of the fish-orphanage. A woman after Rousseau's heart, you are.) And I am grinning.

Haha, thanks for the reassurance;) They will *love* a pond, it's the perfect destiny for them! + Ponds are SO pretty, if I had a pond I would try to grow water lilies. To address what Sulpicia said, goldfish doesn't have short lifespans. They can live till they're over 40 years old, but mostly die before that as people keep them in fish tanks that are too small. Gold fish will learn to recognize their owners, isn't that amazing? My fish recognize me and get all excited, swimming close and wiggling when I talk to them. Aww, water puppies!
